Well I think we can all agree that we dislike homework, but on the contrary to that, homework is actually very good for your brain, and it helps your brain to re-remember what you learned in class. The only time when homework is really bad, is when you have 1hour+ of homework, like in highschool, where from what I’ve heard it’s about 6 hours+
“For certain classes, like math or chemistry, [homework is beneficial],” Depaula said. “[But] some homework just makes it harder for the students to learn.” Depaula furthermore explained that homework can have a positive impact on learning, noting that homework assists students in “classes that they have trouble in.”
Many people believe that one of the positive effects of homework is that it encourages the discipline of practice. While it may be time consuming and boring compared to other activities, repetition is needed to get better at skills.
